Are you an experienced carpenter with leadership experience or wanting to step into a Site Manager role?

We are working with a leading property development company in Cambridge who are going through rapid growth. They pride themselves on quality craftmanship and work on multiple high end residential projects throughout Cambridge.

Due to their continued success, they are now looking to increase their experienced team and require and additional Carpenter who is able to take lead on projects and manage site workers including sub contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and understand the build process in order to manage and lead a site workforce to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow within a business that’s expanding with future opportunities for more senior levels of management.

What’s involved for the Carpenter / Site Manager:-

• First and second fix carpentry
• Management of site workers including sub contractors
• Managing high value residential projects from start to finish
• Liaise with customers on site

What you’ll need:-

• Carpentry / joinery experience is a MUST
• Management experience or the willingness to lead a team is essential
• Strong understanding of the build process
• Excellent problem solver
• Project management experience
• Coordination and management of sub contractors
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Full UK driving licence
