Car Mechanic
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our used car dealership. The ideal candidate will be experienced with various mechanical work, capable of working with a team, making quick decisions. A proven track record of working in a demanding environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical repairs
- Carrying out a repair diagnostic
- Experience in repairs of clutches, gearboxes
- Experience in engine repairs including timing chain replacement, head gasket replacement, rebuilding of engines
- Experience in repairing MOT failure and advisory components
- Carrying out health check and servicing of cars.
- Be able to work under pressure with a high rate of speed.
- Have a passion for cars.
- Read, understand and follow blueprints and diagrams.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be able to read and understand English - only basic English is required.
- Be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understand the importance of safety practices.
