Finance Assistant

Leading beauty and fragrance distributor seeks Finance Assistant to join our growing team. The role is based at the Company’s head office in Welwyn Garden City. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing transactions within the business including sales ledger, credit control, balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of monthly management accounts.

Responsibilities:

Posting Cash Transactions – Sales/Purchases/Nominal

Posting journals

Sales Ledger Duties including posting of invoices along with reconciliation of accounts.

Assist in Credit Control

Posting Nominal Ledger Transactions

Analyzing and reconciling Nominal Ledger accounts including Bank accounts

Posting supplier invoices and expense claims

Calculation of commissions for brand ambassadors

Other duties as directed by Management which fall within the reasonable remit of the job.

Candidate Requirements:

· Confident, approachable, and self-motivated

· Previous experience using Sage 200 or similar accounting software (essential)

· Able to work well in a team and independently.

· Good mathematical and analytical skills

· Well organized and a self-starter

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· A keen eye for detail

Salary: £27,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
