Robotics Engineer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is a remote position.
We are currently searching for a Robotics Engineer to join a rapidly growing SaaS business. The role provides flexibility with the ability to work remotely.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing of custom post-processors.
- Setting up hardware for development and testing.
- Integrating the communication and control of the hardware into the software.
- Developing software features in meeting client requirements to improve functionality.
- Cooperating closely with the Customer Success team and providing necessary technical feedback.
- Communicating with the client and achieving feature requirements.
- Developing custom programs.
Requirements
- A Degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Experiences in programming languages: Java and Kotlin is a must.
- Experiences in the development and operating of ROS (GAZEBO).
- Experience in developing PLCs.
- Experiences with G-CODE and Linux.
A Degree focusing on a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computational Biology, Industrial Engineering or relevant practical experiences. Experiences in programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Python, C++. Experiences in the development and operating Robot Offline Programming. Experience in developing PLCs. Experiences with GAZEBO, G-CODE and also working with/developing Linux.
