Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Traffic Management Operative sit at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for, there has never been a better time to join Apex Traffic Management as a Traffic Management Operative! We are one of Scotland’s largest traffic management suppliers and continue to grow year on year.
Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on high-speed roads.
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses.
- Helping and guiding new trainees
- Installing and removing lane closures
- Installing and removing 2/3/4 Way Traffic Signals
About You:
- TTMBC
- Qualified Lantra 12ab and 12d cards.
- Knowledge of Chapter 8.
- Able to pass a safety critical worker medical.
- Full driving licence, with no more than 3 points.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Adaptability and Flexibility.
- Weekend Working
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £9.50-£14.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme
Ability to commute/relocate:
- East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
