Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for people who want to make an impact and are enthusiastic to learn new skills and work with students (aged from 6 to 16). You can enjoy real job satisfaction and gain the skills to teach students successfully. As a Tutor, your aim is to create a fun, positive and welcoming atmosphere for learners.

  • Job Type : Part-time

  • Report to : Manager

  • Salary : Competitive Hourly rate/salary depending on experience

Job Description
  • Ensure the teaching and learning environment is fit for purpose

  • Ensure compliance of Apollo Tuition Centre curriculum and drive improvements where necessary

  • Track and review students’ progress and attendance

  • Support students, review their work

  • Liaise in matters with parents, teacher and students

  • Encourage students to be positive

  • Review and monitor reports to parents and develop a good relationship

  • Some teaching experience is beneficial

  • Establish effective, positive relationships with parents, teaching colleagues and staff

  • Be able to use own initiative in situations, giving students some control over their own learning
