Approvez Medi-Care LTD is a Home Care Service (Domiciliary) that provide vulnerable adults with a range of services that meet their needs and offer them choices.
We deliver service that respects the wishes and feelings of the Service User and upholds their rights and dignity, and their cultural background.
Our objective is to provide an option for care services and, by doing so, offer the Service Users and their families greater freedom and choice. We will do this by matching Service User requests with appropriate staff and resources.
The care services we provide are all bespoke for Service Users living individually in their own homes.
The type of support we provide includes:
- Personal
- Domestic help
- Specialist services – support of people with Autism, Dementia, Mental Health
Job description
Care Worker Role:
To support customers with all aspects of their day to day living so that they can enjoy the best possible quality of life in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities of Care Worker
Give non-discriminatory care and support that values each customer's diverse and unique qualities.
All aspects of personal care such a:
Showering and bathing Dressing and grooming Toileting and continence care
Teeth and dentures
Administrating Medication Shopping, preparing and serving food and drinks of their choice.
Safely use aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of customers, for example:
Standing and walking frames Wheelchairs, manual and electric hoists
Sliding sheets and moving boards Hearing aids and other physical aids
Light Housework is required.
Record and report all relevant customer information.
Work well as part of the Approvez Medi-Care Limited team:
Follow Approvez Medi-Care Limited policies, procedures and guidance at all times
Take part in staff and customer meetings
Ability to listen, communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with
customers, their families, Approvez Medi-Care Limited staff and other social and health care professionals and followApprovez Medi-Care policies, procedures and instructions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear full PPE according to the 1457guideline.
