Food Market / Retail Assistant

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our Food Market and Retail team. This is an ideal role for someone with a keen interest in lifestyle products and a passion for working in a fast paced, customer focused role.

Your role will include.

· Greeting customers and helping with their purchases in a friendly and active manner.

· Assisting with regular stock deliveries by merchandising and pricing products.

· Stock rotation and replenishment.

· Maintaining standards and displays within the department.

· Watering houseplants based off individual requirements and maintaining plants health and tidying up where required.

· Using the till, scanning products, and taking payments

· Serving customers at our instore Mimi’s Bakehouse as well as crafting great coffee from our Takeaway counter.

· Completing Opening and Closing producers as outlined by your supervisor.

What we are looking for

· Experience of working in a retail, customer facing environment.

· Ideally you have barista training, but not essential.

· Cleanliness and organization are essential to this role.

· Effective teamwork and communication skills

· Enjoys customer interaction and is customer service focused.

Other role details

· This role involves working 2/3 weekdays and alternative weekends.

· Additional hours may be offered, and a flexible approach is required.

· Staff discount available once a successful probation period is complete.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21-35 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
