Care Assistant

Ashgate House provides nursing and residential care services for 45 residents with late-stage dementia and associated complex care needs. We are recruiting caring and motivated Care Assistants to join our dedicated team.

Successful candidates will join one of three graded bands dependant on shift pattern worked. Ashgate House is committed to a person-centred approach and high standards of care promoting independence, wellbeing and safety of residents.

Essentials

• You must be able to work a min of 24 hours per week
• You must be fully vaccinated against Covid or be willing to be vaccinated
• Excellent communication skills
• Provide high levels of care and support to our residents
• Work alternating weekends
• Well motivated
• Enthusiastic
• Good sense of humour

Desirable

• Experience of working in a Dementia/Nursing Home setting
• DBS on the update service
• QCF Level 2 or above in health and social care - or equivalent
