Live-in PA/Carer/Driver for a Young actor in Worcestershire
You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be driving our client's van.
Start: ASAP
2 Days/Week at a time, Live-in Position; a potential to do more days at a time in the future
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Pay: £180/day.
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks’ holiday pro rota
We are recruiting a PA to join the existing team of carers on behalf of our client, a 22-year-old Actor who is currently working at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
Join his team of PA’s who provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to really help make a difference to our client’s personal achievements.
About our Client
-Graduated in Drama and Musical Theatre at Wolverhampton University
-Has a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy, he is full-time wheelchair-user
-Definitely a ''People'' Person
-Loves food, enjoys eating out
-Works 2-3 days a week at the Hippodrome
-Has been signed with an acting agency, looking forward to get acting jobs
-Has a wicked dry sense of humour.
-Massive Movie fan – especially loves Science Fiction and comedies.
-Loves Doctor Who
-Very independent and sociable but will also spend time watching series on Netflix and TV

About You
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.
You will need:
-To be a recent graduate in a similar subject or have an interest in Drama and Musical Theatre
-To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
-Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
-To have a good sense of humour
-A mature and responsible attitude
-Good communication skills
-To be fluent in English.
-To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
-A full clean UK driving licence
You will be fully trained prior to starting, so previous experience of this type of work is not required.
You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
