Cattery Assistant

B.J.Pet Resort & Spa is looking for a hard working and experienced full-time Cattery Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, reliable and can achieve work related time scales.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.

• Assist in the daily cleaning of all indoor outdoor areas of the facility.
• Ensure that all indoor outdoor areas are cleaned in a timely manner.
• Working confidently with cats of varying natures.
• Groom cats on a daily basis.
• Feed and medicate cats.
• Have knowledge of feline related vaccines and health care requirements.
• Following procedures for pet care and pet care equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Experience:
Knowledge of cats in a commercial environment preferred.

• Knowledge of sanitizing chemicals preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision while performing essential functions of the job.
• Full driving licence preferred.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £12,618.42-£24,831.57 per year
