Role Overview & Responsibilities
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Counter Terrorism Vulnerability Hub. This is a joint NHS and Police Mental Health Team which facilitates information sharing with local services and referral for mental health intervention (where appropriate) for individuals who have come to the attention of Counter Terrorism Police and who are thought to have safeguarding needs in the context of mental disorder. The successful candidate will work alongside psychiatry, psychology, nursing and police officers to manage a caseload of individuals who are known to Prevent/CT police.
This role will require excellent skills in risk management, complex clinical knowledge and advice. Experience within a forensic setting is essential. Please note that as this role is working alongside police additional high-level security vetting is a direct requirement of the role. The role will require security clearance to SC level with the Metropolitan Police Service.
