Bartender

Bar So, a premium cocktail bar and club in the heart of Bournemouth, We are looking for a skilled and passionate bartender to join our team. As a bartender at Bar So, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience, serving up a range of delicious cocktails and providing friendly and professional service.

Responsibilities:

• Serve customers promptly and professionally
• Engage with customers and make recommendations
• Use computerized tills and handle cash, credit card payments
• Check identification of customers who appear to be underage.
• Maintain a good knowledge of Alcohol licensing laws and regulations
• Keep up to date with special promotions and offers
• Keep the bar area clean and tidy at all times
• Prepare fruit and restock bars
• Perform stock take duties as required
• Follow procedures for opening and closing the bar
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar and ancillary areas
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures and record accidents

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a high-volume bar or nightclub environment
• A good knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and beer
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers
• Knowledge of liquor licensing laws and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work weekends and holidays
• A positive and professional attitude towards work

Salary: £9.00-£11.50 per hour
