Social Media Executive

What We’re Looking For

Do you love social media and are you good at creating content strategies that engage, inspire and convert? Would you like the opportunity to use your passion for social channels to help companies achieve their business goals? Whether that’s increasing followers, gaining engagement or helping to generate sales?

We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media Content Executive to help us deliver the best possible results on our clients’ social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Familiarising yourself with each of our key clients, understanding their business objectives, their brand identity, tone of voice.

Where missing, develop a sound social strategy per client, working closely with the senior management team. Plan content through knowledge of platforms, frequency, and audience behaviour.

Developing concepts for social content, writing copy, briefing design and sourcing imagery where appropriate.

Taking responsibility for managing the clients’ social media platforms on a daily basis. Not simply posting content, but engaging and interacting with relevant communities online.

You will help build a strong relationship with the company’s clients through knowledge and delivering work to a high standard.

Working closely with the rest of the team, to ensure all content is delivered on time and on brand.

Monthly reporting for each client.

Skill Set

Experience in developing content for other businesses or agencies.

In-depth knowledge of social media marketing with campaign planning experience.

How to use paid advertising for the best return.

Confident with Microsoft Office, content scheduling tools, google docs and everyday IT

Excellent written and spoken English

Proofreading and editing experience with good attention to detail

Ideas person - we want to hear ideas from everyone

Ability to work independently, balance your workload and deliver on time

Flexible working - we operate in a hybrid way, working remotely but coming together at least once a week to plan and share ideas and report on activity.

This will be required for four clients to begin with in the following industries:

• Hospitality
• Marketing
• Pharmaceutical
• Software

Use of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter a must, knowledge and use of Tik Tok beneficial.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £10,000.00-£15,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brighton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Social media marketing: 2 years (preferred)
• social media: 2 years (preferred)
