HGV Driver's Assistant (Nights)

This is an exciting time to be part of Bidfood as we are about to start twilight deliveries to some of our key customers. We will deliver from 6pm onwards to some of our national customers to further improve our great customer service. With a number of teams and depots within our network working together, we deliver service excellence to our customers via over 1,500 deliveries each week! A bit about the role

You’ll be supporting our Class 2 Drivers delivering food and non-food products to our customers in multiple locations throughout the night. The route can vary on a day-to-day basis but there will also be regular customers, meaning there’s a good mix of both variety and familiarity, which our teams appreciate.

This role will cover 5 days out of 7 working 40 hours a week starting between 6pm and 12am.

A bit about you

Ideally, you will have experience of working in a similar role including liaising with customers along with strong customer facing skills. You’ll also enjoy a challenge and care about helping our customers succeed, taking pride in being the face of our company to so many people every day.
