General Worker
Location: Hull

Duties as a General Worker will include any of the following:
Candidates should have extensive experience as a General Worker/Operative within a Petro-Chem/ Piping Fabrication/Oil and Gas environment.Assist tradesmen of all disciplines including mechanical, piping & electrical.
Ability to work un-supervised.
Load, unload, identify materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans.
Abiltiy to use overcranes, once training as been given (Pendant trained).
Basic slinger and rigging for basic lifts
Assist when required with the General Consumables and Welding stores and prepare consumables requisition and issue consumables when required
Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain a tidy workplace & work in-line with company procedures and safety standards
Experience with Counterbalance & Side-loader forklifts and have the relevant certification for the plant being operated.
