Boclair Care Home is looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant. (Dayshift or Nightshift)

This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care.

Our new care home will be led by our new Home Manager, who has over 30 years’ experience within the care industry, built up across the public and private sector. They are Nurse qualified, managing care homes for the last 10 years in the local market. A people-person, who will make sure to put your best interest at heart.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• Up to £12.00 per hour (dependant on experience)

• Welcome Bonus of £500

• 22 – 44 hours per week

• 5.6 weeks annual leave

As Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care for our residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors.

Ideally, you will be SVQ Level 3 qualified. We would consider an experienced Care Assistant, who is working towards their SVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care.
