Farm Worker / Poultry Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Poultry person(s) required for free range poultry business in Berwickshire.
Key Responsibilities:
o Routine checks of hens throughout the day
o Picking and grading eggs
o Counting and recording egg numbers
o Packing eggs and prepare documents for egg collections
o Keeping the site and sheds clean and tidy
You must be able to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team.
Start time 07:30 til approx 16:30
Pay rates – dependent on experience
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Own transport is essential - there are no public transport links.
Applicants must be in possession of their own Right to Work Documentation - No Visa's offered.
Sadly we can't have anyone working here on farm with their own hens/geese/ducks/etc due to the risk of disease transmission.
