Passenger Services Assistant (Seasonal Position)

Job Type: Full-Time, 3 to 6 month temporary contract

Location: Portsmouth Port

Salary: £22,350 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who can deliver excellent service and provide a great customer experience as part of our dedicated Port Operations team in Portsmouth this summer.

You will be required to work an average of 37.5 hours per week in shifts, to cover our late-night opening hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

This role is highly customer focused and suits positive, resilient individuals who possess a considerable degree of flexibility and a clear enthusiasm for variation.

Key responsibilities include engaging with our passengers to deliver an exceptional check-in service, making bookings, answering queries, and dealing with complaints, both in person and over the phone.

Candidate requirements:

· Excellent Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

· Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service

· Ability to work under pressure

· Strong team player

· Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role beneficial

· French or Spanish language skills an advantage but not essential

Full training and uniform provided

Successful candidates are required to be available to start Tuesday 20 June 2023 (4-day induction training).
