Costs Lawyers – all levels – The costs team of this leading defendant law firm is about to embark on a new recruitment campaign to attract 3 costs lawyers to specialise in Casualty Costs work at all levels of complexity from fast track RTA and EL/PL Casualty work to complex injury including Catastrophic and Large Loss. The team also handles work arising out of complex industrial disease as well as commercial litigation costs work.

• Working pattern: hybrid /flexible
• Reports to: Partner
• Previous Experience: The team wishes to speak with costs lawyers at all levels whether your strength is in drafting or negotiating costs or both.

Overview of ideal candidates

The team is both looking for experienced talent and those whose expertise can be developed and nurtured. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate.

• At least 6 to 12 months or more in a costs role
• Experience of fixed costs or negotiating and settling more complex files
• Excellent attention to detail
• Advocacy experience would be useful, but is not critical.
