Warehoue/Stores Operative
An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse/Stores Operative to join a family, friendly and supportive business. The role will involve supporting the sales and engineering departments with administrative duties and liaising with them to ensure deadlines are achieved and help the departments run smoothly. To include organising customers shipments and delivery of stock. They will ideally be highly organised, have attention to detail and able to prioritise workloads. The role is full time and permanent located 10 mins outside Southam.
Working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 08.30am -16:30pm Friday - 8.30am -2.30 pm
Main duties and responsibilities for the Warehouse/Stores Operative
- Liaising with various departments and depots
- Inputting data accurately and efficiently
- Processing goods in
- Preparing despatch notes and paperwork
- Preparing orders for despatch
- Ordering stock
- Using the in-house Warehouse Management system to log and input data
- Filing paperwork
Key Skills required for the Warehouse/Stores Operative:
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and to multitask
- Competent & confident use of computer systems
- Organised and efficient administration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of working within a warehouse environment would be an advantage
