Role Overview & Responsibilities
Carbon60 require Coded Welder to start on an Industrial site near Southampton. Welding test will be required prior to starting onsite. This can be done at our clients Head Office or onsite in Southampton. You will be responsible for:
- Utilising your experience in medium to heavy engineering work.
- Reading and interpreting engineering detailed drawings.
- Conducting installations of new equipment.
- Adhering to the highest safety standards throughout all tasks.
- Operating plant equipment
TEST's are duel coded ASME and BSEN.
Tests to be completed:
6" sch 160 GTAW/SMAW C/S
2" sch 40 GTAW C/S
2" sch 40 GTAW S/S
½" GTAW C/S
½" GTAW S/S
Requirements CCNSG NVQ Welding Certs ASME IX and BSEN ISO 9606 qualification IPAF advantageous DBS (Cost will be reimbursed) Rates
- Basic hours Mon-Thurs 1st 8 £19.11
- Fri 1st 6 hours £19.11
- Overtime A - Midweek & Sat 1st 4 hours £26.75
- Overtime B - Sat after 4 & Sunday £34.40
- 2nd Tier Bonus per hr worked £2.37
- Proficiency pay £0.44
- Cost of Living payment £0.75
- Holiday pay is accrued weekly
- Lodge & Rail Fares paid in line with NAECI agreement.???????
