Labourer / General Assistant

Carbon60 are currently looking for a Labourer / Operation Support Assistant to join an experienced British manufacturer working within the land drainage, flood defence and sewage industry. This is a permanent position that provides amazing opportunities.

This Bedford based company are looking for an Operation Support Assistant to join their diverse and ever-growing team to play a key part in the company.

Tasks include:

• Assisting in pressure testing of various pump components.
• Assist in rigging/derigging of test arrangements, this also including clean down, touch up paint and preparing pumps for tests.
• Use of overhead cranes and forklift trucks.
• Provide a clean, safe and a hygienic environment. Ensure that all tasks are carried out in line with HSQE policies and procedures.

Requirements include:

• Experience working in a similar environment.
• Overhead Crane User (training will be provided if required)
• Qualified Forklift User (training will be provided if required)
• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a team player.
