Machine Operator/Setter - Port Talbot - £12.01 plus shift allowance
Are you an experienced Machine Operator looking for a new role?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing company who are experiencing significant growth at their site based in Port Talbot.
Hourly Rate: Up to £12.01 per hour, plus shift allowance
Location: Port Talbot
Hours of work: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, must be prepared to work a night shift if required (10pm - 6am)
Role responsibilities:
- Setting and operating a variety of machinery to include packaging machinery.
- Conducting Changeovers
- Use of measuring equipment, record calibrations and measurements
- Monitor production to ensure maximum output.
- Work to standard operating procedures
- Work to the stringent Health and Safety procedures whilst ensuring quality standards are met.
The successful candidate:
- A proven track record working in a Machine Operating role.
- Previous experience setting and making adjustments on machinery in line with customer specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience working with tooling, conducting changeovers, diameters, measuring equipment.
- Ability to work to written instructions and standard operating procedures.
