Fruit & Veg Packer

CareerMakers Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic Fruit & Veg Packer to work alongside our client team based in Longridge, PR3 area, fast paced environment picking fresh produce accurately and efficiently.

Role

• Picking & packing fruit & vegetables in our warehouse prep room in an accurate and timely manner.
• Working in a fast paced environment and able to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Certain amount of manual handling.
• Maintaining the units tidiness and cleanliness at all times.

· Packing and preparing of fresh fruit

· Moving trays of fresh fruit from preparation to production

· Basic Quality checks and Quality assurance of fresh fruit

· General production duties

· Some lifting of fruit boxes

· Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to

Personal Protective Equipment required: Hi-vis Vest & Safety Boots

Good understanding of Health and Safety & Manual Handling

Reporting to the Prep Room Manager and Supervisor, prepare produce for customers working efficiently and productively whilst ensuring that all food safety and health and safety rules are strictly adhered to.

Working Hours:

Sunday to Friday : 19PM to 05AM (5 days on / 2 days off)

Pay rate : 11.67 £/h
