Live-in Care Assistant

Location: Thanet, Kent
Salary: £86.00 for 9 hours
Hours: Full-time

Care assistants are required to work 1 week on, and 1 week off (as a minimum).

The length of the shifts is tailored to the needs of each individual customer.

You will work a 9-hour day for £86.00, you will have a 2-hour break in the day where you can leave the property.

You must also be able to provide availability for the night unless an emergency occurs.

A mode of transport is not necessary.

You do need to have experience working in the care profession. You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our customers, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to live in the customer’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the customer and Caremark.

The type of support that you would be providing is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family. For instance, you may be providing help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.

Principal Responsibilities

Your role would include helping customers with tasks such as:

• Help with washing & dressing
• Shopping & meal preparation
• Prompting with medication
• Support with daily routines
• Respite services
• Socialising and leisure activities
• Helping customers access the community
