General Cylinder Operatives
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Central Cylinder Testing Limited is looking for a General Cylinder Operative to work at our Selby site.
Applicants will conduct various tasks, some of which can be physically demanding with lifting and sorting of gas cylinders. Tasks include:
- Logging cylinder information into a cylinder database
- Stamp marking cylinders
- Painting and powder coating cylinders
- Shot blasting cylinders
The right candidate will be a hard-working, conscientious person who likes and finds it easy to work with others. We value accuracy and the ability to take responsibility for the work you are undertaking. A good knowledge of health and safety is essential, and training will be provided.
Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Mon-Thu (0800-1700), Friday (0800-1500) (occasional overtime and weekend work may be required and will be discussed at interview).
Extensive training will be provided and so experience with handling gas cylinders is not essential.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Salary: £13.00 per hour
