Credit Risk Manager

Our client is a fast-growing, highly visible, and well-respected commercial finance company with hubs across the world. This FinTech company provides embedded software solutions for the worlds leading and largest e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify etc.). Due to growth and increased global demand for their merchant financing solutions, they now have an exciting opening in London for a Credit Risk Manager.
As a Credit Risk Manager, you will:
- Leverage technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes
- Own and refine a credit risk strategy and pricing model
- Work closely with Data Science, Credit Decision and Product teams
- Deliver in-depth portfolio analysis
- Analyse and evaluate new data sources
- Drive process automation
- Help enable quick entry into new markets
- 4+ years in an analytical role in retail banking or FinTech
- Data science and statistical/financial modelling
- SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages
- In-depth understanding of credit risk, SME, corporate and/or consumer
- Keen to explore new data and analytical methods
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-intensity, high-demand and on-time environment
- A strong sense of urgency by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities
- Critical thinking, analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- An initial basic salary circa 70-85k
