Fire Extinguisher Service Engineer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Chubb Fire & Security now has an opportunity for a Fire Extinguisher service and sales Engineer to join the team in Dorset covering the DT, SP and BA postcodes.
This is a field-based role visiting customer premises across the region, servicing fire extinguishers to relevant British Standards whilst adhering to health & safety requirements. If you are self-motivated and like unlocking opportunities, this is a role where you will be able to continually identify and deliver further sales opportunities with customers in your area.
- Plan your appointments and call outs to maximise service time and ensure cost efficiency
- Identify and liaise with decision makers on site to obtain sign off for work undertaken
- Identify opportunities for additional sales
- Maintain adequate van stocks/spares
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills; you’ll be comfortable talking to a wide variety of people
- Be self-motivated, with the resilience to achieve targets and bring in additional opportunities
- Have previous work experience in a hands-on service environment (field based preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of fire extinguisher servicing i.e. FETA or BAFE trained would be an asset in this role, but not essential
- Hold a current UK driving licence
Additional Information
- Base salary plus monthly commission with realistic on target earnings (OTE) of £30,000 - £35,000 (uncapped)
