Tour Guide for Ghost Tours at the Centre of Edinburgh

City of Edinburgh Tours is looking for 8-10 Tour guides in the centre of Edinburgh to start asap.

This a great opportunity for creative people, history lovers or actors.

You'll be guiding a group of people in the centre of the city telling them scary stories while becoming a ghost yourself. Every tour guide picks a creepy person from history and builds up a character to deliver the tours theatrically.

We are looking for people who are comfortable speaking in public and like the idea of doing something different.

The salary is per hour, this is NOT a self-employed opportunity, you get paid 16£ per hour of the tour, most tours are 75min which comes to a 20£ per tour. You can add there the occasional tips + for each 5-4 star review you get a 5£ extra in your payslip, which if you are good can be a good amount. In addition for each one of the reviews, you get an extra 5£ that is saved until January when we add 20% to the total of the money accumulated.

There are no set skills or qualifications required to do this job, a liking for history or interpretation skills is welcomed, but not necessary as you can grow in your character as you do tours
