Job Title: Dairy Production Manager
Part-time: 24 hours per week up to £12.00 per hour, subject to experience and references.
Main Purpose of Job: To be responsible for the production of our high-quality dairy products to our exacting standards. To manage the day-to-day manufacturing and processing of our products, from processing raw materials, using equipment to cook and process and packaging and labelling products.

Cheshire Clotted Cream, Fresh Luxury Custard, Clotted Cream Rice Pudding and a range of Yogurts.

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager based on-site at Clotton Hall Dairy. The role will involve lone and team working within the dairy and will report to the manager. The successful candidate will have a passion for producing dairy products and will thrive in producing quality and consistent products for our customers. This is currently a part time role Monday to Wednesday shifts, 8 hours per day with the potential to increase for the successful candidate.
In this role, the key responsibilities will include:
- To lead production of our range of products
- Managing daily production planning and schedules.
- To ensure all products produced, are produced to the highest standards
- To ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards and ensure routine maintenance is completed and documented.
- Comfortable working alone after a period of training as well as part of a team.
- Deliver and optimise production targets.
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of our food hygiene and safety standards, alongside record keeping.
- Be forward thinking
- To fulfil production records as part of the production process
- To be able to work in a chilled environment where necessary
- As a small business we are all hands on and from time to time it might be necessary to take on a different task, on a very occasional basis, such as making a delivery.
Key skills & experience:
- Experience of food production is advantageous.
- Level 2 Food Safety management as a minimum (training can be provided)
- Good understanding of Food Hygiene
- Good communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Trustworthy, self motivated, ambitious, can work to targets without hands on supervision.
- Enthusiastic attitude.
