Support Worker
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be able to care for people with a range of disabilities and also be able to assist with other duties, such as cleaning and tidying common areas, preparing and serving meals and administrative tasks. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, patient and an excellent communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and light housework.
- Assist with personal care and reception of guests.
- Record events and other information in a journal.
- Report occurrences to management staff.
- Politely greet people visiting the facility.
- Handle emergencies.
- Follow directions from management staff.
- Keep a positive attitude.
- Keep a clean, orderly environment in the facility.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
