Are you looking to join one of the top construction companies on the West Coast? We are a leading mechanical contractor in the area looking for a Purchasing Agent/Buyer to join our team.
The Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchasing material and equipment for projects in both HVAC and Plumbing scope. The company works on unique construction projects across industries including but not limited to: Commercial, Mixed-Use Residential, High-Rise, Entertainment facilities, Healthcare, Technology offices, Government, Laboratories and more!

Qualifications:
- Experience purchasing HVAC and or Plumbing equipment and materials is strongly desired
- Must be highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented
- Must have thorough understanding of purchasing process
- Ensure all buying agreements are being followed
- Contact vendors to follow up and expedite purchase order items
- Verify and report on price changes on purchase orders
- Update vendor information files
- Assisting AP with POs to invoice by matching and correcting problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to work well with others
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
