Kennel Worker

As part of our small family gun dog business we are looking for an enthusiastic, active, self-motivated, resilient and diligent Kennel Assistant - needed immediately and prepared to hit the ground running!

You'd be working with our small and friendly team, looking after our private collection of gun dogs. Experience working in kennels and a keen interest in this environment is 100% required.

We also run a large breeding establishment therefore it is preferable that are knowledgeable and have experience in whelping litters with excellent husbandry skills.

Alongside all the standard cleaning duties, our team works in all weather conditions exercising and training dogs. A good level of general maintenance skills would be beneficial to help with various jobs and tasks within the buildings and on the grounds.

The package could include an on-site, one bedroom ground floor new and purpose built apartment. As you may know, when looking after animals there are no set hours with shifts and cover dependable on the business. Be prepared to work during the day/attend to our puppy litters throughout the night.
