The Research Centre for Health & Life Sciences is seeking an ambitious Research Fellow for the role of Research Fellow in Bioleaching within the Centre Theme of Bioscience and Biotechnology Engineering. Our Research in the area of Bioscience and Biotechnology Engineering focuses on the exploitation of biological processes for multiple aspects of societal impact, ranging from well-being and medicine to bioremediation and environmental safety. We are looking to attract a dynamic and outstanding researcher to join our team.


The Research Fellow (RF) will be responsible for developing and managing the research programme and partner collaboration between Coventry University (CU) and K1Met. This project will develop and monitor the development of Bioleaching-based methods for the recovery of precious metals form EV-batteries. The RF will work under the supervision of a university academic and will lead the research project objectives including all reporting duties to both partners, ensuring that objectives are met and reporting is conducted in line with project plans.


You will be joining a successful Research Centre who has significant links with industry and public health bodies, along with the Institute Advisory Board and prestigious Honorary Research Fellows. We also have a growing Postgraduate Research community who contribute to a vibrant and thriving research environment.
