As a social media coordinator, you'll manage the organisation's online presence by developing and implementing our social media strategy.

You'll lead campaigns and projects across a range of social media channels, producing engaging content, analysing usage data, building client relationships and facilitating customer service.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• design and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies
• manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube, using tools such as Hootsuite and Asana.
• develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote the organisation and brand
• form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms and undertake audience research
• monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
• undertake audience research, identify consumer trends to help with planning social media campaigns and optimise content to further encourage community interaction and engagement
• analyse competitor activity and recommend improvements to increase performance
• set targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement and loyalty
• manage, motivate and coach junior staff such as social media executives or assistants
• manage and track budgets for social media activities
• regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face (agency roles).

Entry requirements

You need to have a GCSE in Maths and English Grade 4/C or above.

Training to be provided

Digital Marketer:
Apprentices learn the skills they need on the job with the guidance of a development coach who is an expert from industry. You will finish your apprenticeship with a recognised qualification, valuable industry experience, money, and substantial opportunities for promotion.

Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

Things to consider

This is an office/studio based position, must be able to reliably commute daily to Aston, Birmingham.
