Role Overview & Responsibilities

At Creativity ArtWorkshops we are always looking for enthusiastic and creative freelance art teachers & assistants for part-time positions at our Holiday Art Camps for children. 1:1 art classes, after school clubs, creative birthday parties and family events. The opportunity to be part of our team will be available to those candidates who are committed, energetic and creative with the ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons and strong classroom and behaviour management. Please just applied if you have an Enhanced DBS certificate, a flexible schedule and your location is not more than 45 minutes from West Kensington London area.

The candidate should have previous experience (2 years minimum) of working with children of all ages, be organised, self-motivated and have a passion for education, arts and creativity. All candidates must hold an Enhanced DBS and be able to travel to the North/West/Central London areas, desirable someone who lives within 30-45 minutes of the venue at W2 or the branch at NW10.

Essential requirements:

-be fluent in and clearly speak the English language and live in London.
-have a degree/diploma in Fine arts, an Art GCSE at 7-9 grade or equivalent for art clubs and privates art classes. For Creative Camps, an Art/Drama education background.
-have teaching experience with children aged 4-14.
-be great at communicating and punctuality. be able to do 2 non-paid TRIAL days at one of our Art Camps to be considered as art teacher leader at our camps during the whole year.
-be able to do 2 non-paid TRIAL days at one of our after school Art Clubs to be considered as a regular art teacher leader during the whole year.
-be available for an in-person interview and if successful, available for non paid practical/informal training.
-have a friendly attitude and charm.
-have a recently enhanced DBS certificate.
-be self-employed.
