Assistant Maintenance Manager

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER to be part of our hotel maintenance team. Together with the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for the brand new mechanical and electrical installation at our stunning 1AA rosette awarded Crowne Plaza Marlow Hotel & Spa set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds with private lake.

The Place

The new fully refurbished Crowne Plaza Marlow has 168 rooms, 1AA rosette restaurant, Aqua Bar Lounge & Conservatory with lake views, and Crowne Plaza conference centre.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the following :-

1. Compliance to Intercontinental Hotels Group brand standards, Fire Life Safety Standards, Energy Efficiency and other standards

2. Supervision of sub- contractors on site

3. Undertaking and managing preventative maintenance schedules

4. Responsible for the new mechanical and electrical equipment installed in the hotel, in particular the brand new Daikin air conditioning system throughout and to oversee the complete replacement of the heating and cooling installation across the hotel as part of a complete upgrading of the entire hotel to create the best Crowne Plaza in the UK

You should also have good communication skills – both written and verbal

Good IT and organisational skills essential

Successful candidates should ideally have a solid hotel engineering/maintenance background, preferably in a branded Hotel environment.
