Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cumberland Comms provide end to end technology and communications resources. With 20 years in the industry, we believe that creating positive long-term relationships with satisfied customers will ensure our long-term success. Operating mainly in Humberside and the surrounding areas, we have an excellent reputation in the industry, with a high regard for health and safety and customer service.

We are looking for motivated individuals and provide a program of continued training and development to our team to ensure we keep up with the fast-evolving industry.

We cover all aspects of the industry, and your work will involve

· Copper and fibre installing

· Copper and fibre jointing

· Overhead and UG cabling

· Polling, civils and exchange work

· Other duties and tasks as the industry determines

We are looking for likeminded team members to join our business as full-time trainee/telecommunication engineers

Requirements

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Safety conscious
  • An excellent standard of work
  • Good time keeping and attendance
  • Confident working at heights
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good standard of customer service
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices
  • Must always represent the company in a positive manner
  • Must be happy to work mainly outdoors
  • Be a team player who can work using your own initiative

Desirable but not Essential

  • Hold or have held Openreach overhead, underground and fibre accreditation modules
  • Have experience of working on Openreach/KCOM networks
  • Hold a valid NRSWA street works Operative unit 2 card

Salary: £22,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
