Accountant

We are a firm of Accountants in Tonypandy, and they are currently looking for an

experienced Accountant to join our team.

We are looking for:

• 4 – 5 Years’ experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience of accounting for small, owner managed businesses
• Excellent proficiency in excel and confident in other Microsoft software i.e. Word, Excel etc.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software i.e., Iris, Sage, Xero & QuickBooks.
• Clear, confident communication skills and a willingness to be pro-active when engaging with clients.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude, eager to carve an integral role within our business.

The Successful Candidate will be:

• Qualified or Part Qualified or qualified by experience.
• Able to communicate and adapt to a client’s needs.
• Able to work to deadlines and have a desire to exceed client’s expectations.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and have good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good technical competency.
• Confident in managing own time and workload.
• A team player

Working closely with our clients, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Handling client queries i.e. technical software advice, bookkeeping, tax, VAT etc
• The preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies.
• The completion of corporation tax computations
• The completion of VAT Returns
• Liaising with HMRC as required
• Month end duties including reconciliation for clients.
• Liaising with senior managers and assisting with finance related queries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
