DAMONS HOTEL IS LOOKING TO EMPLOY A PART TIME RECEPTIONIST TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Rates of pay £12.00 per hour

Hours of work are: 7am – 3pm and 3pm to 11pm,

16 hours per week. Overtime available

This will be on a rolling shift rota, working 1 weekend in 3.

You will need to be flexible for holiday cover.

No experience required – full training given.

This is a permanent position.

Previous experience within a guest service environment is an advantage.

Damons Hotel is a beautifully appointed superior grade hotel with clean spacious rooms and two hot tub suites.

We are located south of Lincoln City and our famous Damons American Rib and Ethans Restaurant share our site and support our hotel.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Confident in customer interactions
• Ability to work on their own or as part of a team.
• Computer literate
• Previous experience in a Receptionist or equivalent position preferred but not essential.
• You will be the first impression our guests receive. It is imperative that you are a professional, positive and polite individual who has a genuine interest for hospitality and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check-in and check-out procedures
• Completion of audit procedures
• Demonstrate covering customer service at all times
• Dealing with guest enquiries and queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room rates, packages and promotions.
• Compliance with hotel rules, policies and procedures.
• Keep reception and lounge area clean and tidy at all times
• Knowledge of the area surrounding Lincoln that can be offered to guests as and when required.
