Role Overview & Responsibilities
Experienced preferred
You will be expected to work at various sites within the UK.
Skilled worker capable of carrying out, in an autonomous and competent manner: The installation of structured cabling, single-mode fibre and multi-mode fibre cables with all necessary containment and associated connection units. Installation, acceptance test, ability to fault find Copper cabling, multi/single mode fibre systems (internal and external), using a range of OTDR’s, light source, power meters, high precision fusion splicers
Fitting out enclosures with structured cable termination equipment (connection units, hubs, switches, routers, patch panels etc
Able to work in a variety of environments with restricted minimal resources.
Have knowledge of emerging technologies
Hold CSCS card and have sound knowledge of Health & safety at work ( training can be offered to right candidate)
Hold IPAFF 3a & 3b ( training can be offered to right candidate)
Keeping accurate records, communicating using company resources completion dates, customer relations, time management to senior management.
Use Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Essential Skills
Visual Colour Discrimination — The ability to match or detect differences between colours, including shades of colour and brightness.
Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Finger Dexterity — The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
Near Vision — The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Qualifications
Experience is preferred, further industry qualifications where applicable.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Must have valid drivers license.
Willingness to further progress and undertake training relating to industry and health and safety
Working Hours
Working week is Monday to Friday – expected to work weekends when required
Standard Working day: 07:30 to 16:00
Willingness and available for emergency call out and or weekend, evening nights.
In locations across the UK but not overseas.

Salary: From £30,000.00 per year
