THE ROLE
The Womenswear Fashion Designer will work closely with the wider design team, developing and designing products in line with the brand aesthetic.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Conduct seasonal research, trend analysis, and create mood boards for collections.
· Develop and design market focused multi-product across all current ranges which may include women's and men's jersey, woven, outerwear, denim, and accessories in line with the brand aesthetic.
· To design with a strong awareness of price architecture, margins, and market pricing.
· Creation of product specification and technical packs/size charts. To undertake garment fitting and sample amendments.
· Support in the product development from sampling to production, working in line with critical path and deadlines; liaising with factories.
· Factory visits and fabric sourcing trips.

THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for what Disturbia is aiming to achieve as an organisation and the ability to be decisive, open and specific, whilst promoting acceptance, inclusion and respect.

They should be a fast learner and be dynamic in their approach as they will need to react quickly to ever changing environments.

Finally, they will be charismatic and confident, happy interacting with different audiences and peers.

EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, Fashion Design Degree or similar.
· Previous product development experience.
· An excellent technical understanding of garment design, fabrication and fit.· Excellent knowledge of our market sector and trend awareness.
· Strong CAD, Photoshop, and excellent Illustrator skills.
· Confident and competent communication skills.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Experience using spreadsheets: Excel / Numbers.
· Graphic design, 3D design, and PLM experience a bonus.
