Lead for Recovery Education, Band 7
Dorset Wellbeing and Recovery Partnership (WaRP) is a formal partnership between Dorset HealthCare and Dorset Mental Health Forum (a local peer led organisation). The partnership brings together lived experience of Trauma, Mental Health issues and Emotional Distress with professional, clinical, and learned expertise. The vision of our partnership is for Dorset to be a place where people can thrive in their communities and be valued for who they are as citizens with all of their diverse experiences.
This exciting role has an important part to play in the ongoing transformation of Mental Health Services in Dorset. Recovery Education, sits at the heart of our partnership and has value in both an individuals' personal development but also the cultural development of teams and organisations, promoting a greater focus on personal Recovery.The WaRP co-run several projects including the Recovery Education Centre, Discovery Project, Retreats, Dorset Open Door, and Dorset Work Matters.
This post is 30 hours per week and available as a secondment or as a fixed term contract until 1st December 2023.
