Job Title: Chef - Vietnamese Restaurant Doux Chaton Vietnamese Kitchen

Location: 89 Renshaw Street, Liverpool, L1 2SP

Job Type: Full-time or Part Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team at a Vietnamese restaurant. The ideal candidate must have a passion for cooking and an in-depth knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine. Additionally, the candidate must be able to speak either Cantonese or Vietnamese fluently.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a diverse and delicious menu of Vietnamese dishes
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
• Monitor food stock and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and storage areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Train and supervise other kitchen staff members
• Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special dishes
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards all customers and team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef in a Vietnamese restaurant or a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and cooking techniques
• Ability to speak either Cantonese or Vietnamese fluently
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and long hours when necessary
• Must have a valid food handler's certificate
