Automation Tester (Contract)

Location: London – Hybrid

Day Rate: £300 – £500 DOE

Contract Length: 9-month Initial Contract – Immediate Start

The Company

Dynamic Search Solutions is working with one of the UK’s largest retailers, who are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join their London offices on a hybrid basis. This role is a mix of remote and on-site, and the business wants to work with you on the flexibility of your schedule.

You will have the autonomy to work how is best for you, while still having the opportunity to collaborate as part of the QA team.

Automation Tester Role:

• Review the testing needs of our projects and identify the requirements for the Processor-in-the-Loop based test environment.
• Extend the capabilities of our Processor-in-the-Loop based test automation by adding or improving features to the overall solution.
• Bring-up the modified system and make it available to the test team.
• Document the changes / new functionality.
• Support the testers who execute the tests in case of test automation related questions.

Your Skills and Experience:

You will be supported to work how is best for you, in a hybrid and flexible working environment. The business does ask however, that you have:

• 3-5 Years Automation experience
• Extensive automation testing experience in Designing and developing test automation scripts.
• Strong functional and automation testing covering UI and API.
• In-depth test management experience – Jira, XRAY & Confluence.
• Strong knowledge in continuous integration (CI/CD) of automation tests tools – Gitlab, Jenkins.
• Experience in Load and Performance testing using tools – Postman, SOAPUI and JMete.
