Warehouse Operative

Established in 1857, E.W.Taylor is a leading customs clearance agent, freight forwarder and warehousing and distribution company based in Sittingbourne, Kent. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team across our Sittingbourne and Sheerness warehouses.

You will come from a warehousing background and have experience unloading/loading containers/trailers, pallet movements including pick/pack/fulfilment.

Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead is key to ensure the warehouse operates effectively.

Counterbalance and reach forklift licence required.

Your responsibilities will include;

Ensuring all warehouses and stock are clean and in good order and receipt/despatch of goods are handled safely and efficiently

Managing paperwork for goods in/out

Unloading of containers and movement of pallets into racking

Stock control

Pick/Pack

Operating forklifts in a safe and efficient manner

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,000.00 per year
