Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our firm is seeking a Chemical Engineer to develop, test, and implement new products and processes. The successful candidate will have a background in applied science, preferably in chemistry or electrical engineering. We're looking for someone who is committed to leading research and development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate workers to ensure that the plant is run efficiently and safely.
- Perform inspections of the plant and machinery.
- Review blueprints and plans to identify potential chemical hazards.
- Lead the design of new chemical plants.
- Research new engineering techniques.
- Research chemical substances to determine their effects on the environment and human health.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Provide technical support to other staff members.

Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £43,567.00-£48,536.00 per year
