Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting Fulltime & Part time fryers at our Pentwyn, Whitchurch & Llanishen branches.
If you wish to apply you must have previous experience, duties will include:
- Food cooking and preparation including
- Cutting fish
- Making batter
- Oil management
- Cooking fish, chips and other menu items
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and following the rules of health and safety
- Stock control – including stock rotation
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Understanding all aspects of the business.
- Undertake all training given both internal and external
As a member of Fintans crew you will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills, be flexible at all times and thrive when working under pressure (it gets busy and hot in our kitchen). You should also show initiative, have pride in all aspects of your work and you should relish being part of our award winning team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week
Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
