We specialise in selling action figures, books, comics, graphic novels, manga and toys and we offer all the best merchandise from the cult cream of movies and television.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our fantastic Finance team!
The successful candidate will have previous purchase ledger and payments experience and understanding of bank reconciliation as a must.
Role Overview
Purchase Ledger
- End of month major stock supplier payments
- Request invoices and statements from suppliers
- Use Futura to obtain Goods In Sheets and EposDB for further stock level analysis
- Ensure supplier accounts are reconciled
- Keep track of credit note requests and discount queries
- Contact buyers directly, as well as shops and suppliers, in order to solve queries
- Prioritise accounts in order to meet suppliers terms and internal deadlines
- Create payment packs for management review, send remittances, and set up BACS payment
Create invoice files using scans and delivery notes
Mid-month Comics supplier payment using Filemaker
Non-stock suppliers
- PL management for utilities for each site
- Courier account management
- Ensure invoices are on the system for direct debit accounts
Revenue Management
· Weekly sales report
· Daily store cashbook
· Bank reconciliations
Adhoc
· Attend stock takes
· Annual audit preparation to assist managers and deal with auditor queries
· Store gift voucher order distribution and delivery note creation
· There will be some natural exposure to the production of the management accounts and ad hoc tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30,500.00 per year
